Integrating Technology into a Movement Course

Technology is everywhere and is being integrated into the classroom as a requirement.  Teachers are finding ways to implement smart boards, iPads, web access and whatever the next 15 year- old computer savvy young person will soon create.  They must be able to keep the students of today competitive in the world they live in and will one day lead.  Students must master their environment with the tools they currently have in their digital age.

It is not as easy to teach a movement based course without moving.  Dance, physical education, and sports need to have technology implemented into the curriculum, but how?

Teams are using interactive mechanisms to monitor the timing and skill of athletes to help improve stamina as well as technique.[10]  Video tutorials are used to demonstrate skill level required for the athlete to mimic.  Students learn by example.[7]

Dance Revolution and the Wii are adding to the physical education courses.  Having online options are aiding students with self-esteem issues, due to weight and physical disability, to have access to a healthy lifestyle.

I added an additional video (The "New" PE) and the resource citation in the reference section.

I corrected grammar mistakes and checked all the links, which were well. Are you adding more content, or is this your wiki in its entirety?
