What are they?

A virtual classroom is a form of distance education using the internet. They allow teachers to teach and students to learn without being physically present in a classroom. Virtual classrooms can be synchronous, asynchronous or a combination of the two.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_classrooms

What might you find in a virtual classroom?

Class activities:

  • Group and individual learning activities
  • Discussions and chats with students, parents and guests
  • Quizzes and surveys
  • Homework activities and assessment documents
  • Full on-line courses with modules of work
  • Forums and synchronous chat sessions
  • WebQuests, Hotlists, Scavenger Hunts, etc.

Class organization:

  • Important information for students and parents
  • Calendar and timetables
  • Unit overviews
  • Student grade/mark book and criteria sheets
  • Student homepages

In-text references and References at end of text need to be formatted APA style. Do you want me to work on these?

Chavez, why don't you help her with this since Dr. Roby extended the time for us. I'm done with my other work and I don't know how to help. Thank you. Gihan

Hi Chavez,

Thanks for looking though my page, but I put not complete up on the top so you everyone would know why certain things aren’t done. I just put little references here and there so i could remember what sites I got the from. I will go back and put everything into APA at the very end.

Thanks,
Amanda

Amanda, I have been checking your links and I fixed 3 of them, however, there are two links I couldn't fix at all. The first one is under the title Resources. I copied the link in a new window several times and tried to correct it but it is not working the proper way. Either you need to get to the link that you know and fix it or better (maybe) remove it. Here is the notice that I get after trying it over and over.

(I'm sorry, but we couldn't find what you were looking for.

Page names can't have a slash in them.

While normally you can create a new page just by linking to it, there may have been something about the page name that our system didn't like, such as an unexpected period or slash. Try going back to the referring page and removing these odd characters and then trying again.

If you're convinced you shouldn't be seeing this message, please contact support and let us know how you got here.)
the second link is the third on the Reference section. I can't get to work either. Please check it again. I will do my best to try to fix it.
Giahn

I tried the 3rd link under resources, still didn't work. Please check it again. I remember I email Chavez the same day I emailed you. I hope he can make it.
